I am a ridiculous optimist!

I've realized that no one reads my blog. I've posted that I've realized that no one reads my blog. And yet everyday...down I scroll "comments?...maybe?...no." Everyday. It really is quite depressing. But at least this way I can write about what ever I like.

So. More random pictures from ZsaZsa. I really am in love with this blog!

Someday...

SO! The first post of my newly-reincarnated-blog: Sunlight

Sunlight. It's my favorite thing about Spring/Summer. I can just sit in it for hours. It's all the friend, companion, confidant and love I need. Sometimes. This is one of those times. It is 9:30 at night. In February. Needless to say I miss my Sunlight. This will have to do for now. Photos from ZsaZsaBellagio

Tea and depression. Isn't that lovely?

So I have come to a rather depressing realization. Rebekah is the only person who reads my blog. Thanks Rebekah! I love you. But you're the only one. Is that as lonely for you as it is for me? Not that you aren't wonderful! But...you know what I mean.

So in future I'll just post random stuff I want to remember, without caring that Rebekah, and I are the only ones who will see it. Ever.

The story of James and Lily

So I have decided that J.K. Rowling needs to write the story of James and Lily Potter at school. A whole book. Actually it should be about the whole generation of witches and wizards who parented the kids in the Harry Potter books. But especially James and Lily =). But with plenty of Sirius and Lupin in there too. Tonks needs to be in it, and Sirius should absolutely be the heart-breaker who never actually dates anyone and laughs at James a little - in a loving, friendly way of course - for being so crazy about Lily for so long when she ignored him so much. I got the idea from the pictures below - aren't they cute? - I saw them on Tumbler and thought they were just the best =). I love how shocked he looks in the bottom picture...and how much taller he is than her =).

Lent

So this year for lent I have given up Pinterest. I have a feeling you'll be seeing a lot more of me now that I won't be spending roughly half my life re-pinning stuff. *sniff* I'm gonna miss it! But it's be good for me right?

Also if you read my blog please comment, even if I don't know you. I like blogging but sometimes it's a little depressing seeing the "comments awaiting modulation: 0" and a little bit of encouragement never goes amiss. Thanks!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Today I found a blog - a really great blog. And I am officially in love with it. (It's right next to David Tennant =P) Check it out at Zsa Zsa Bellagio. It really is incredible  It's got every one of the -ridiculously varied- styles of house/clothes/photography that I love! It's like someone tapped into my brain and just posted everything that I would find beautiful. Of course there are a few -very few- things that I don't love quite so much...but they are probably just things that the mind-tap saw in the future or something =).

So this beautiful blog is my Valentine's Day gift to you =).

"What'll I Do?"

12 days before my 15th birthday my grandmother died and I canceled my birthday plans. Two days before my birthday I opened the newspaper, and read an article about how the Sacramento Ballet had recently purchased the production - costumes, sets, props - that belong to the ballet adaptation of Romeo And Juliet. Opening night - February 10th, tickets starting at $15.00. I have always loved ballet, but have seen very little, and my mom decided that for my birthday I should go to opening night, with one of my best friends, Rebekah. We went. We loved it. The next year we found that they were going to do Cinderella, and once again I called Rebekah. But this year we would go on the 11th - the day after my birthday, because this year I was turning 16 and so must  have a party. We went and, once again, we loved it. And then, two nights ago we went again this year for my 17th birthday. And this year they were performing one of my all time favorite pieces of literature. The Great Gatsby. They did a fantastic job! I teared up at the beginning, because they were doing such a good job, and then at the end I truly cried. Despite the fact that Rebekah was shaking with suppressed laughter in the seat next to me, because for what ever reason they decided that the swim suit Gatsby wore at the end should be skin tight and white, so it was a little difficult to tell at first that he was wearing anything at all. The song below was featured three times, once at the beginning when Gatsby danced to it alone, once in the middle with Daisy dancing with him and once at the end...when I cried. Like a baby.

a Capella, Disney medley

Ok, for one thing, they are really wonderfully talented. Their voices are quite incredible. Plus, this is hilarious, especially if you like Disney. So long story short, watch this!
