So this year for lent I have given up Pinterest. I have a feeling you'll be seeing a lot more of me now that I won't be spending roughly half my life re-pinning stuff. *sniff* I'm gonna miss it! But it's be good for me right?
Also if you read my blog please comment, even if I don't know you. I like blogging but sometimes it's a little depressing seeing the "comments awaiting modulation: 0" and a little bit of encouragement never goes amiss. Thanks!

Happy Valentine's Day!
Today I found a blog - a really great blog. And I am officially in love with it. (It's right next to David Tennant =P) Check it out at Zsa Zsa Bellagio. It really is incredible It's got every one of the -ridiculously varied- styles of house/clothes/photography that I love! It's like someone tapped into my brain and just posted everything that I would find beautiful. Of course there are a few -very few- things that I don't love quite so much...but they are probably just things that the mind-tap saw in the future or something =).
So this beautiful blog is my Valentine's Day gift to you =).

"What'll I Do?"
12 days before my 15th birthday my grandmother died and I canceled my birthday plans. Two days before my birthday I opened the newspaper, and read an article about how the Sacramento Ballet had recently purchased the production - costumes, sets, props - that belong to the ballet adaptation of Romeo And Juliet. Opening night - February 10th, tickets starting at $15.00. I have always loved ballet, but have seen very little, and my mom decided that for my birthday I should go to opening night, with one of my best friends, Rebekah. We went. We loved it. The next year we found that they were going to do Cinderella, and once again I called Rebekah. But this year we would go on the 11th - the day after my birthday, because this year I was turning 16 and so must have a party. We went and, once again, we loved it. And then, two nights ago we went again this year for my 17th birthday. And this year they were performing one of my all time favorite pieces of literature. The Great Gatsby. They did a fantastic job! I teared up at the beginning, because they were doing such a good job, and then at the end I truly cried. Despite the fact that Rebekah was shaking with suppressed laughter in the seat next to me, because for what ever reason they decided that the swim suit Gatsby wore at the end should be skin tight and white, so it was a little difficult to tell at first that he was wearing anything at all. The song below was featured three times, once at the beginning when Gatsby danced to it alone, once in the middle with Daisy dancing with him and once at the end...when I cried. Like a baby.

Hello again.
And once again it's been months. But I realized something today, I don't really blog for other people I blog for me. I know that sounds selfish, and maybe it is but blogging is how I process when I feel like I've done nothing at all - it helps me remember all the really mundane, but important things that happen in my life - or when I want to document an idea (I was trying this morning to remember what my brother and I wanted to do for next holloween...and now I remember.) or a thought or just when I want to put a caption to a picture but that caption is to long for Pinterest =).
However a friend of mine recently told me that she had read my blog and liked it, and that made me feel loved =) So hi Hannah!!! I love you!
Today I am blogging for a few reasons one of them being, I want to tell you something (for once a post for YOU, who ever you may be) there is a wonderful world about to be opened to you (unless you already know it in which case, I like you) The world of...wait for it...Doctor Who.
I saw this picture on Pinterest recently and I'm gonna let it describe the show to you, 'cause it does a really good job. So here you go.

If you need more incentive to watch it, here you go.
And if you need yet more (and are a girl)
Admittedly David Tennant (above) is only in seasons 2-4 but he's amazing! But so are Christopher Ecclston (season 1) and Matt Smith (seasons 5-current).
David Tennant is the only celebrity crush I have ever had, and I will proudly own up to being head over heels in love with him, 'cause he is adorable, a brilliant actor, became an actor because he loved Doctor Who, and (trump card) in real life he has a Scottish accent. I rest my case.
Any way. The other reason I'm blogging.
I've been thinking a lot lately for a few reasons. Reason one: that's what Doctor Who does to you. It makes you think. Reason two: I have eleven days left of being sixteen, and that was really depressing me 'cause sixteen was supposed to be "such a great year but wasn't". And then I was talking to my sister-in-law and she started listing all the great stuff I've gotten to do this year. I've made amazing friends, become closer than ever with my older sister, gotten a new sister, gotten more involved with my church, become closer with God, learned to drive, started watching Doctor Who, and made some wonderful memories.
And you know what? Seventeen will probably be amazing.
Thanks for reading.

P.S. I just realized that I use a blog like a diary. Just writing down what ever random thoughts are running through my mind. Hmm.

Happy holloween!
happy holloween people!!! If anybody reads this, I don't care if I've never heard of you. COMMENT I want to know what your costume is =).
I went to two costume parties as a flapper, but at the second of these someone bumped into me and spilled all over it so I can't wear it again ='(. So we go to plan B. Herione Granger =). I washed my hair last night and did nothing to tame it this morning. I already have jeans and a white button down shirt, but I am still looking for a red and gold striped tie =/.
My brother and I already have plans for next year...Max Smart and Agent 99 =).
So again...COMMENT! I love hearing new ideas! =)

Today is happy.
Today is happy for many reasons.
#1 My sister is home! Yay!
She goes to school in Oregon and this Summer she stayed up there to work. She is home for about a week for my Mom's birthday.
#2 I am getting baptized on Sunday! We scheduled it for a time when Madelaine would be at home. I am very excited! I went on a mission trip a few weeks ago and the lady who lead it and her husband are gonna be my Godparents =). I am very happy about that. I can't wait to make the Krauses even more like family than they already are.
#3 I've been shopping a bunch lately so I have a bunch of really cute new clothes, all of which I got really cheep!
#4 It is cloudy outside! 'nuff said =). #rainymood.com
